"Nose: fragrant; Finish: medium; Overall: pleasant; Perhaps a little pricier than warranted (I see much lower price online), but very pleasant. A bit heavy on the fruit to be really balanced, but there are far worse sins. Pleasant, sufficiently complex to be interesting, good structure and finish, very well made. Will try again."

"Aroma:
The nose shows lifted notes of spice, followed by an amalgam of fresh espresso, rich chocolate, dark cherries and freshly roasted almonds.
--
Palate:
The mouthfeel is long, dense and coating with luscious liquorice, mocha, spice and blackberry flavours. With more fruit weight and tannin than previous vintages, this is a lot of fun to drink now but will age nicely. "

"Inky purple. Intensely perfumed nose offers vibrant dark berry and candied plum aromas, with an exotic twist of floral oils and baking spices. Broad and sweet in the mouth, with juicy blackberry and cassis flavors perked up by slow-building cinnamon and clove spiciness. Finishes with excellent precision and persistence."
