"Our Tablas Creek Roussanne is designed to showcase the richer, fuller face of this terrific varietal that also forms the base of our Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc. It is fermented 60% in oak and 40% in stainless steel. The wine was blended in March and bottled in May 2004. It shows a vibrant expression of Roussanne. Aromas of pear, honeysuckle and marzipan are followed by a wine of rich texture, honey, pear and lemon flavors, bright acidity and a long finish. It drinks well now but will reward time in bottle, and should be excellent for the next 5-7 years and perhaps longer. "
