With its intense Pink colour and Joyful aromas, this rose champagne as seen through the extravagant lens of Piper-Heidsieck.
Elaboration:
Audacious, contemporary, elegant, playful, Rose Sauvage is unlike any other rose champagne. This is a rose champagne made through assemblage in accordance with the regulations of the Champagne region. The Dynamic colour is obtained through the significantly higher proportion of Pinot Noir vinified as red wine before added to the blend. 24 months of aging in the cellars complete the Magic.
Tasting Notes:
The nose contains lots of Fresh red fruit, especially Morello cherries. Notions of mandarin and grapefruit combine with hints of cinnamon and figs. The palate is Exuberant and warm with aromas of red plums, clementines and blood orange – and just a touch of pistachio."
