"Color: dark; Body: full-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: bold; Earthy, a little touch of leather perhaps. Full flavor and good solid body. Young but ready to drink."

"Vinsobres is a small village perched on a hill top within the Drome de Provence countryside. It was one of the Côtes Du Rhône Villages until 2006, after which it became a Cru in its own right, following in the footsteps of Vacqueyras and Gigondas. The vineyards for this appellation come from a higher plateau giving the wine more acidity and aging potential.
Tasting note: A blend of 10% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah and 70% Grenache, this rich wine is full of sweet red and dark fruits. The tannins are soft and ripe and there is tremendous finesse. Great length and very stylish. Drink from 2008 through to 2018."
