"Thick, rich aristocratic Syrah judiciously augmented with a small proportion of Viognier. It works in the Northern Rhone, where the combination is known as Cote-Rotie, and the wines sell upwards of $50. This slightly more down-home version from South Africa is from the folks who make Goats do Roam (notice a ruminant theme??), and it is delicious, as well as a considerable value."
