"The 2005 J Pinot Gris shows white grapefruit, lime and melon aromas in the nose blended with notes of honeysuckle, jasmine and vanilla. Flavors of pear and fresh apricot are balanced with light spice and a refreshing acidity. Voluptuous texture and creaminess in the middle leads to a finish which offers lingering citrus and vanilla components. Its delicate aromas, attractive flavors, opulent texture and balanced acidity make the 2005 J Pinot Gris a wonderful accompaniment to many types of cuisine, but we highly recommend it matched with Asian inspired dishes, as well as, most spicy Pacific Rim cuisine.
