Tasting Notes:
tasted: November 19, 2011 , Lena Lamel
91 points "Color: deep; Nose: fragrant; Acidity: lively; Body: medium-bodied; Overall: elegant; This wine had a darker fruit component than the Sojourn Sangiacomo we had just prior. Finish to me was not as strong as it could be, felt like tannins were resolved. No alcoholic bite, but still nice acid balance. I don't think this wine will improve, good timing to drink it now." 4 stars "Color: bright; Nose: complex; Aromas: spicy, red berry; Acidity: supple; Body: medium-bodied; Overall: elegant; very glad I have another bottle. Larry brought 2000 Chateau Haut-Batailley which was very good and got better each glass. John brought 08 Talty Dry Creek Zin. Good. I also opened the 06 Hobbs Syrah"
