"Complex aromas of blackberry, plum and mineral follow through to a full-bodied palate, with silky tannins and a medium finish. Promises more on the nose than it delivers, but very good. The first vintage of Villa Antinori as a non-Chianti Classico. Very good improvement. Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot. Best after 2004. 208,300 cases made. –JS"
