"We are directly importing several spectacular wines from a tiny domaine in the hills of Mâcon in a town called Vergisson. Denis Barraud has a tiny estate called Domaine des Nembrets. This comes from some very old vines in a vineyard called Les Folles. It shows more structure than his regular cuvée, with lots of weight on the back palate. It is one of those wines that literally makes your mouth water. Beautiful, focused, old-vine fruit is the hallmark here. Denis leaves ground cover in this vineyard, in order to get the old vines to concentrate on their deeper roots. This is has terrific acidity and a very impressive weight, concentration and spice. it also shows very pretty floral notes and fruit. I am *most* impressed. (Keith Wollenberg, K&L Burgundy buyer)"
