"You look at this and see a jet black monster- stick it in your mouth though and it beguiles and charms with a lightness of touch that you can't possibly anticipate. It's pure and long, with pristine plum and berry fruit, subtle spice notes and beautifully balanced oak. Is this the new Barossa, or just the old Barossa reincarnated? Either way, or neither, it is a cracking wine and Mitolo fans and lovers of quality Australian Shiraz have something to cheer about.
