"The black/purple-tinged 2004 Syrah, a blend of fruit from two vineyards, was produced from the Estrella clone of Syrah. Gorgeous aromas of truffles, licorice, blackberries, cassis, and asphalt are followed by a dense, rich wine with subtle oak (about 20% new French barrels is utilized), beautiful opulence and ripeness, and a long, heady finish. Consume it over the next 10 years."
