"There's lovely licorice and crushed blackberry on the nose, with some raisin notes. Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and powerful fruit. The mineral, aniseed and crushed dark berry flavors are impressive. Dense and concentrated, yet balanced. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best after 2011. 6,000 cases made. –JS"
