"From one of my favorite wineries in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Roar’s beautiful 2008 Syrah Rosella’s Vineyard offers up aromas of underbrush, forest floor, red and black fruits, charcoal, and hints of pepper as well as smoked meats. This plum/purple-colored wine is dense and full-bodied with impressive purity, a multilayered mouthfeel, and a supple, seamless finish. Enjoy it over the next 5-6 years."
