This is the first time that I can remember having a clear preference for the Champeaux over the Mes Favorites or its predecessor the Vieilles Vignes. Seductive and quite aromatically precise with elegant, slightly earthy fruit and a clear mineral element followed by medium weight, pure, clean and beautifully delineated flavors and a hightoned, sappy, persistent finish.
