90 points "Given 14 months’ elevage in 70% new barrels, the Le Cadeau 2010 Pinot Noir Cote Est Reserve displays admirable clarity and focus of ripe cherry and plum, allied to leathery, meaty, mouthwateringly saline as well as nutty, positively green, spinach-like undertones. Subtly creamy in texture and almost somber in its metaphorical darkness yet vivacious and downright refreshing in a finish that invigoratingly evokes fruit skin and pit, this wine offers a delicious litany of characteristically Pinot virtues that I suspect will show well for at least the next 6-8 years. 92 points "An elegant version of the Côte Est, this is an Oregon Pinot sourced from the winery’s vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains that’s bursting with juicy goodness. It’s a wine with finesse, full of tart fruit flavors like cranberry and cherry, tight and well-suited for 10 or more years in the cellar. — P.G. (12/1/2012)" Best 2015-2020
