"Voerzio’s 2004 Langhe Nebbiolo captures the essence of La Morra in its perfumed, floral notes and suggestions of small red fruits. Displaying excellent length, fine tannins and lovely overall balance, it is an outstanding effort in this important vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2014. Readers who enjoy the wines of Roberto Voerzio will delight in these more moderately-priced new releases. Voerzio puts the same amount of effort into his Dolcetto as he does his top Barolo bottlings, as a walk through his vineyards just before harvest attests."
