Its strong sense of vinosity marks this wine as Rose from the very outset, and its additional nuances of chalk, vanilla and soy with a hint of violet and dry, yeasty notes tack on solid champenization credentials. Finely appointed and insistent foam supported by brisk acidity and continuing notes of chalk, yeast and cherries carry the wine across the palate, and if it ends with an austere finish, it is wholly convincing and fully satisfying when paired with savory-sauced oysters."
