"This is more elegant still though noticeably more reserved with excellent complexity to the pretty red and dark pinot fruit cut with briar notes. The rich, full and quite generous flavors possess admirably good mid-palate density as well as a seductive mouth feel, all wrapped in a sappy, dusty and lingering finish. This is overtly austere at present and is very much in need of cellar time as this is indisputably built to age."

"The medium ruby-colored 2008 Pinot Noir Audrey was sourced from the biodynamically farmed Maresh Vineyard, one of the oldest and finest plantings in the Willamette Valley. It offers up a sublime, already complex perfume of wild berries, underbrush, cherry blossom, spice box, incense, raspberry, and cranberry. Velvety-textured on the palate and seamless, it is crammed with fruit, impeccably balanced, and needing only time to fully express itself. It is one of the stars of a great vintage."
