Tasting Notes:
tasted: December 2, 2009 , Colin Johnson
4 stars "Color: bright; Nose: complex; Aromas: spicy; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: firm; Finish: persistent; Overall: rich; Ripe and very well-focused, with a rock-solid core of blackberry, fig and raspberry ganache flavors layered with cocoa powder, incense and mesquite notes. The long, racy finish has great underlying acidity, allowing the rather fleshy structure of the wine to appear seamless. Drink now through 2011. Tasting Notes - Polished and pure, with a lovely beam of raspberry and boysenberry fruit, layered with sweet toast, mocha, licorice and mineral notes that glide through the lengthy finish." Best 2009-2010
