"(made by Mark Ryan McNeilly): Bright medium ruby. Aromas of blueberry, black raspberry, hot stones and sexy spices; very Rhone-like. Then suave in texture but a bit youthfully unforthcoming, with a restrained sweetness to the cassis, blueberry and dark chocolate flavors. Finishes with ripe, suave tannins and very good length. This will merit a 90-point rating if it gains in complexity with bottle age. (89+?)."
