"The 2003 Atio is dark ruby-colored with aromas of damp earth, mineral, black currant and blackberry. The wine is a bit muted and firm on the palate like a number of 2003s from this D.O. However, there is a solid core of fruit and good balance. This is a wine that will always be more pleasing to the intellect than to the senses. Drink it over the next 6-8 years.
