"Color: bright; Nose: complex; Aromas: black berry; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: pleasant; Black berry fruit, sour cherry & a little smokey tar in both nose and flavour. Fairly soft, but with a bit of backbone showing. Went very well with the chicken and assorted cheeses, but somehow seemed a little one dimensional. Probably needs more upfront fruit."
