"The 2004 Grenache, cropped at 1.5 to 2 tons of fruit per acre, boasts a deep ruby color as well as a knock-out fragrance of raspberries, cherry jam, loamy soil, and a hint of spicy oak. Medium to full-bodied with fabulous concentration, an expansive, velvety texture, and extraordinary purity as well as precision, it is a blockbuster Grenache (among the finest I have ever tasted from Australia) to drink over the next 5-8 years."
